Crocodiles

What are those eyes peaking out of the water?
The prehistoric crocodile is a reptile that lives in Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas.

Appearance
The crocodile looks like a dinosaur. The crocodile has a long tail for swimming fast in the water. It has a long snout and it has big and hard scales on it's body to protect itself from predators.

Diet
Crocodiles usually like to eat fish turtles and unlucky mammals or reptiles that come and have a drink in lakes. The mammals that they eat are buffaloes, zebras and small birds. They attack their prey when the prey get close to the water and do the dearth role for the finish touch.

Habitat
Crocodiles like to live in wetland, rivers, lakes and the sea. The countries they are found in is Africa, Asia, Australia and the America. They live in there's contres because the water is warm. It has to be warm because they are cold blooded.

Behavior/Protection
Some species of crocodiles are shy and aggressive. So if we went up to a crocodile it will probably swim away but if they are mating or laying eggs they will be aggressive and attack you to protect their eggs. They Protect by showing their teeth to scare animals away or use their hard scales on their body.

Predators to the crocodile
You may think crocodiles are the king of animals but they are not other predators like Jaguars, Leopards, Pythons, Anaconda and humans. The predator's attack crocodiles because the crocodiles might have food and the predators want it so they fight for it.

    1. Murky waters Astor so they can spy on their prey then attack. But they can go in clean and clear water to.
