WALHT: describe a moment in time from the Breakthrough exhibition with detail (snapshot recount) - 29.8.16
The Crowded Table

Boring, boring, boring. "We've been waiting here forever and no one has showed up!" I said.

We arrived in the hub (at 6.15pm) to present our breakthrough to learners and visitors from Stonefields school and the community.  "It's already six thirty and we have only got about four visitors that had come to try our art!" Said Mia. We all sighed we knew we were going to be here for an hour just walking around.

Then all of a sudden People raced into the hub like a stampede of elephants. We all gasped with surprise. It's amazing, how did this happen? I thought. People were crowding around the table and our art. Everyone wanted to try out the art. There were so many people that Mia and I had to race all the way down to hub 9 to get some more sieves.

Finally, It was 7.30pm! People started to go home. Mia, Jenny and I started to pack up. (Although Jenny had to leave a bit early.) By the end of that night we were completely exhausted but also relieved to have people come. At the start we didn't think anyone would come! We had so much fun although it was quite tiring, trying to control everyone. I can't wait to do something like this again!
